Lucy Spraggan at Tramlines

Lucy spraggan tramlines festival

Lucy Spraggan will be performing as part of the Tramlines Festival on the Fat Cat Car Park Stage 3:00pm Saturday 26th July. Lucy, from Sheffield, rapidly rose to fame when she auditioned for the X Factor in 2012, performing her own song, Last Night (Beer Fear). Following Lucy we have the Steel City Rhythm Heavy Dub and Soulful Reggae band on stage at 5:00pm featuring our very own Carl Dulson.

Sheffield Beer Festival coming to Kelham!

Kelham island brewery

This year's event will take place at Kelham Island Museum from 29 October to 1 November opening times Wednesday and Thursday 4pm to 11pm, Friday and Saturday midday to 11pm. With both indoor and outdoor facilities, the Kelham Island Museum offers the best of both worlds for the Steel City Beer Festival. In 2010 the event was subjected to non-stop rain when hosted outdoors in a marquee at Sheffield General Cemetery. When it moved indoors to Ponds Forge in 2011 there were complaints that the beer went off on what happened to be the hottest October weekend ever recorded. "Having the conference room and the outdoor courtyard will mean we're prepared whatever the weather," said CAMRA's Richard Ryan.
