Down by the Riverside at Kelham Island Museum

Down b the Riverside

Music fans look out for our two house bands "Still the Rhythm" and "Steel City Rhythm" who will be performing at "Down by the Riverside Festival" at Kelham Island Museum this weekend. We'll be there on the Saturday 20th September with our beer tent selling Pale Rider, Easy Rider and Kelham Best Bitter. Interesting stalls, great food, our beer tent and a full programme of music on stage.

New Bottled Beers in Brewery Shop

The Brewery Shop

We are in the process of expanding our range of bottled beers in our brewery shop so why not pop along? We have some exceptional Italian beers, some special Guinness Dublin Porter, Czech beers, Samuel Smiths organic Hand Crafted beers as well as our Kelham range of bottled beers.
On the 27th September the shop will be closing at 3pm instead of the usual time.

Sheffield Beer Festival coming to Kelham!

Kelham island brewery

This year's event will take place at Kelham Island Museum from 29 October to 1 November opening times Wednesday and Thursday 4pm to 11pm, Friday and Saturday midday to 11pm. With both indoor and outdoor facilities, the Kelham Island Museum offers the best of both worlds for the Steel City Beer Festival. In 2010 the event was subjected to non-stop rain when hosted outdoors in a marquee at Sheffield General Cemetery. When it moved indoors to Ponds Forge in 2011 there were complaints that the beer went off on what happened to be the hottest October weekend ever recorded. "Having the conference room and the outdoor courtyard will mean we're prepared whatever the weather," said CAMRA's Richard Ryan.

"Brewer for the Day" Gift Experience

This is the ideal gift for someone with an interest in beer who wants to know a little more about the brewing process. For just £99 pp per day you can partake in the making and understanding of beer by joining us for a full brew day from start to finish. We can accommodate two people on this experience so ideal for friends, practical clothing (it gets mucky!) and appropriate footwear recommended (wellies). All participants will be given a certificate and an 8 pint can of a beer of their choice.
